Trump's ban on Iraqis has not only stopped those who worked along side of our troops, but fearless men and women who have battled ISIS in their country. Today we learned that, thanks to the Trump Ban, an Iraqi legislator who worked on behalf of Yazidi Christian women will not be able to attend an award ceremony where she was to be recognized for her efforts.

Fake headline. She has visa but is uncertain so she made no plans. Try again
The Iraqis as a whole feel betrayed...

George W. Bush Must Denounce Trump’s Betrayal of Iraq
One of the few areas of agreement between George W. Bush’s administration and the human rights community was that the United States was not at war, after 9/11, with the entire religion of Islam. The younger Bush’s address to the nation on Sept. 20, 2001, made clear that he believed that the jihadi terror ideology was a perversion of Islam, not part of it
Bush’s statement was more than just a matter of principle. His administration considered alliances with Middle Eastern nations a strategic imperative of the so-called "War on Terror." The U.S. also presented its invasion of Iraq as a means to create a democratic ally in a Muslim-majority nation at the heart of the Muslim world.
The Obama administration continued under this assumption. In addition to supporting Iraq’s military against ISIS, the U.S. under Bush and Obama has accepted Iraqi refugees, with special attention given to Iraqis who worked with the U.S. military or other American entities. (Those individuals are at high risk of being murdered by jihadis.)
Some Iraqis with visas that were already issued have reportedly been prevented from boarding flights. There are already reports of Iraqi soldiers—who are literally our current allies in a shooting war with ISIS—calling the order a “massive disappointment.â€
Aw, good try, bad execution. She doesn't know if she is subject to it or not so has made no plans. Next.
"There have been multiple reports of both green card holders and people with valid visas being blocked, either after they arrived in the United States, or as they boarded planes overseas."

If the immigration ban did not intend to stop visa holders and green card holders, then the exec order was badly crafted.
If the immigration ban intended to stop visa holders and green card holderd, the the exec order is working and this lady would be stopped.
Eother way the end result is the same... And responsibility lies with Trump.
But again, the OP was wrong, wasn't she? She claimed a fact that is not in evidence. She's extrapolating but really, that's just conjecture as are you. Good luck. You still failed to execute but a better try than the OP I'll admit.
And she would have also been in 2011 when Obama banned the same people, plain and simple too. Stop the faux hysterics.
It slowed down the issuance of visas from Iraq... I believe this lady already is a visa holder. As such she probably wlildnt have a problem even when Obama exec order was in effect.

If the exec order had been crafted more carefully with the knowledge and experience of other officials left out explicitly excluding situations such as this lady, then you are correct. However that was not the case... Lots of confusion and that blame lies solely on Trump.
People are concerned of getting caught up in the mess caused by Trumps exec order.... You cannot blame thrm... I would not want to take the long trip and cost if it were questionable that i might ve turned away. Again blame lies with Trump for the confusion
