I remember the argument (which I agreed with) that McCain couldn't be allowed to be president because he would be starting new wars in the middle east and that would be bad.

Obama started new wars in the middle east and not a peep. Nothing. No protests, no threats, nothing. The very one who oversaw these wars was even nominated to run for president.

If in 2007 someone would have said: in 2017 we are going to be involved in at least 5 countries in failed wars spinning our wheels, who would you say won the presidential election. I have to imagine 95% of the people would have said McCain.

The fact that no one from the "left" condemned Obama means your words now ring hollow. The "left" still can't say and admit that Obama has been an absolute failure here.

Trump has made up with Russia that Obama pissed off, but him pissing them off was a good thing, right? He was pissed at them because they wouldn't turn over someone that blew the whistle on Obama's illegal spying of the people. Is that what you expected out of Obama?

well, only God knows what will happen in the future, we can only speculate at this moment.

Trump once said, " Jeb is so wrong. You fight ISIS first. You have to knock 'em out. You decide what to do after, you can't fight two wars at one time. If you listen to him, that's why we've been in the Middle East for 15 years, and we haven't won anything. We've spent $5 trillion dollars in the Middle East with thinking like that. We've spent $5 trillion dollars; we have to rebuild our country. We have to rebuild our infrastructure. you listen to that you're going to be there for another 15 years. You'll end up with world war three."

Trump has repeatedly said he’s against foreign wars except for ISIS. So except for being against ISIS, he’s anti-war. I have no reasons to believe he will fight two wars at the same time.

Obama started no wars in Libya/Syria/Yemen but was instead a participant of NATO led coalitions to combat human rights violations.

Exhibit A in a point I made elsewhere. None of those wars happen without our involvement and they happen because of us.

NATO didn't ask us to turn Libya into a gun running base to fund and arm Isis in their fight with Syria.

Sadly, it will be the children of Trump supporters who become fodder for the wars this madman starts.

You forgot one key player, Israel.

Israel is already an embattled nation that is slowly gaining traction in the region, instigating an attack on Iran would only put the country back several generations with regards to international relations by causing more of the Muslim world to unite against them.

Israel really doesn't actually want to go to war with Iran. Going out and attacking another country would be detrimental to the country considering the nature of Israel's location, and Benjamin Netanyahu knows it.

This said, what would General Mattis do? What would Bannon think of Iran. Take all these into consideration and you will get your answer.

It's odd how so many people use this rebuttal for people who have lived it.

It also is a convenient way to avoid my point about the arms running.

Only militarily weak countries, as we only attack countries that are weak!

North Korea? Never!

Odd how these "weak" countries can't be won over. 15 years in Afghanistan and no one seems to be asking why.
