BTW, they aren't "Australia's" refugees.

They are refugees from whichever country they came from.

Australia will not allow refugees that come by boat to enter Australia under any circumstances. They have been settling refugees by boat since the 70's, and those people come under extremely rough conditions, human trafficking and other perils.

In order to discourage people coming by boat, Australia will not accept any boat refugees by way of Indonesia, since 2013. They are detained in camps in New Guinea while they try and find somewhere to send them. These camps are awful and need to be shut down also.

The two governments had agreed to a swap, whereby Australia would take refugees from Central America and rehouse 1250 of the boat refugees with America. That way they can take on the burden of the refugees wanting to come to America without having to compromise the most refugee from Indonesia by boat rule.

Trump did no one any favors by getting terse with the Prime Minister. Of course he could refuse. But there's a way to do that and that wasn't it.
Who ****ing cares? Who is he to think he can dictate to us? Let them deal with their problems that they created.

He wasn't dictating to anyone.

And if that's your attitude, get your military out of Pine Gap and your Marines out of Darwin.

And, Australia needs to withdraw their troop support of the US in Iraq.

And, the US can freakin apologize for ever accepting the Aussies help in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq I & II, and every other conflict they've fought and died with the US in.

Freakin ungrateful mofos.

Your attitude is disgusting and spoilt.

Another Trumpkin that doesn't know the most basic of facts about Turnbull and his party. Turnbull is not a "socialist", he comes from the moderate wing of the Australian Liberal Party ... which despite the name is actually a conservative center-right party.

Do some research before you speak. Maybe then people will stop seeing Trump supporters as a bunch of ignorant rubes.

Please accept my apologies, my country has been going through a bit of a tough spot ever since a bunch of repulsive buffoons have taken power. Trump and his ignorant followers do not speak for all of us. Americans value our friendship with Australia and the military prowess of the Australian forces in both world wars, Korea, Vietnam, and more recently in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Hang in there, we'll get rid of the manchild and his fanbois as soon as we can.

The repulsive buffoons are the ones you support. The Globalist power hungry GOP that do absolutely nothing for the people and had a giant hand in the collapse and the mess we are in now. Sit down while the real adults try to fix this mess.

Those other wars wouldn't have mattered since Japan's Australian Territory probably would have stayed out of them. Well, going on the premise that the Australian navy had zero chance of stopping Japan 70ish years ago.

BTW, our troops should be home.

By boat huh? Have you looked at a map of Australia? Might as well say they won't except refugees, period. As the only way they could possibly accept them would be by plane. And those would be the refugees with money so I see now. Imagine if the US had such a stance?

Are you saying no refugees travel to Australia by boat?
