They can use a couple of key features, but other than that the ACA is trash. Covered California is horrible - think of it as DMV for health insurance.

Exactly, think it was Cruz that said something along the lines of "once this train starts rolling it's going to be impossible to stop."

"For starters they should allow insurance to be sold across state lines to increase competition to lower prices, add tort reform and price control laws of some sort."

Its not illegal to sell across state lines but states have to harmonize health laws. Good luck.
Many states already did tort reform. Not all that much happened. Good idea just from a logistical standpoint tho.

But it's not impossible. It's really not, they are saying all this for political reasons not founded in reality.

It will take time to unwind the total muck up 0bamaCare did to our nation's health care and insurance industry.

The dems purposely made it difficult to undo, but undo it we shall.

It's in the process of imploding. Just let it do so then Democrats will be forced to play ball.

It's clear that Obamacare has created many benefits for many people. The problem is that the one thing it has not done is address costs and those benefits have resulted in more debt/taxes and affected people already paying into the sytem who expected a break from "healthcare reform".

Many local voters flipped for Trump - News - Citizens' Voice

On Tuesday, she did something she never would have imagined: she voted for a Republican.

Woodrosky, 53, enthusiastically cast her ballot for Donald Trump, the first time she ever backed a GOP candidate for president.

----

She said her health insurance premium, as a self-employed person, increased $350 a month for a total of $772 as a result of Obama’s health care law.
This law has exacerbated the issues with healthcare costs making them much more difficult to fix. Fixing this mess that the Democrats have created in a way that is equitable to everyone is by far the biggest issue that Republicans face. It will be extremely difficult both politically and economically.
