How many of Obama's friends/financial supporters benefited from contracts for the last eight years?

Not saying it's good, but it's standard operating procedure.

Any respectable contractor knows he is not going to get paid the full amount, especially when dealing with trump. NYC unions and family owned businesses do not come into play on the border.

Several people here are facing a potential dinosaur sized egg landing on their face if it turns out this guy was never actually offered a contract.

My GUESS is that Trump suggested he bid on the contract.

Where did you come by the information that any respectable contractor knows he is not going to be paid the full amount?

What well financed contractor is going to risk building a mega millions wall if the govt. comes to it's senses and pulls the plug? There is a good chance any wall would take more than four years to complete and hopefully trump will be leaving by then.
Probably what the contractor in the OP was thinking.

This is not a skating pond in NYC that trump coerced his contractors to finish before they were awarded the contract on one of trumps towers.

Uhhh....he cannot award any construction contract to his business associate. It is against federal regulations and is a potential ethics violation...

All public construction projects have to be competitively bid out.

ETA: Will note that "Occupy Democrats" is a highly unreliable, extremely left leaning source that should not be taken as true journalism.

Liberals/Dems heads explode again.

We know it's all true because Jorge Perez, an active Democratic fund raiser and billionaire, says so.
Quote:
He is an active Democratic fund raiser; he advised Bill Clinton on Cuba during his presidency and was an active fundraiser for the failed presidential campaign of Senator Hillary Clinton. In 2008, he also hosted and raised money for Barack Obama after he became the Democratic presidential nominee

It would be hard to find a group of people less informed, and less inclined to do any background research than the current crop of C-D liberals.
They will believe absolutely anything.
