Good. I'm a woman and I'm against abortion if the mother is not going to die. She's worst than her attacker IMO in that case. Why not pick on someone your own size than a defenseless child.
The issue I have/had with your argument is that this thread is in the context of rape. You're trying to compare a man who had consensual sex but doesn't want a kid and is being "forced" to pay child support, with a woman who was raped and is being denied an abortion by her husband. These are not even close to being the same scenario. They're simply not comparable situations because the woman has no choice at all in the whole scenario and the man did have a choice in having sex, knowing it can end in pregnancy. There is a difference between rape and consensual sex in the first place, always.
A woman has a choice as well. Use BC or risk getting pregnant.
I'm not buying your sexist slur that women aren't capable of being responsible for their own fertility.
both parties are responsible. it is a fact. a great deal of men don't use birth control for themselves, they leave it up to the woman. these are the men that don't want to be dads for the most part. if this is how they feel they can either use birth control themselves or make sure the women they have sex with are of a like mind before they become involved. this is something these lazy men won't do because they would rather just have sex without consequence. well the consequence is becoming a parent if the woman won't have an abortion I don not feel bad, nor should any man be let off the hook for parental financial responsibility for a child he creates if he can't be bothered to take care of his own sperm. he plays, he pays, just like the woman.
Or, terminate the pregnancy. You keep forgetting that option!
No, I'm not. I keep saying that either the woman or man can choose to opt out. How are you missing that?
