Obviously you didn't see the 2011 video. Obama was announcing new legislation in the U.S. Archieves ( for effect) on how he wanted to detain NEW terrorists AND suspected terrorists without even a court hearing. This wasn't a continuation of our detention center in Cuba.
Indefinite detention is a component of the Patriot Act.
Which was renewed under Obama.
