Where in the constitution does it say that private industry can only take actions that benefit the nation...

Your words have a fascist twist to them. In fascism corporations exist to advance nationalism agenda. It merges corporations and government. In capitalism they exist to make a profit.

I wonder if the medical industry can start doing the same thing ? Let's start brining in anesthesiologist's from Mozambique because they can be hired for less. Are you going to sign up for that ?

I don't know, maybe there's some point but it's pure common sense that says one actor must not act as to damage the greater structure to whom he belong to.

A kid/parent won't put his interest before those of his family
a sportsman won't put his interestes before those of the team
a corporation won't put its interests before those of the nation
etc

corporations in Italian translate literally into corporazioni that's to say organizations representing workers (unions, sort of...) and businessmen (ad employers' federation...)

it doesn' mean corporations as firms (aziende) or factories (fabbriche) or companies (imprese)
that's a misunderstanding due assonance of the words

it's called corporativism and btw I don't like it because it bridle too much the productive forces imho
but I also don't like the opposite, pure capitalism where the private rules over the State...
