I think people are getting a little too trigger-happy by calling everything "a lie". I'm not necessarily trying to defend Kellyanne -- I think she has a fairly thankless job regardless of how much credibility one thinks she has -- but let's be adults for a second.

People get things wrong sometimes. Mix up facts. Fudge certain details. Confuse dates. It happens. My guess is if Kellyanne was trying to lie about something -- meaning, intentionally telling something she knew was not true -- she would not do so on national TV with respect to something that's easily verifiable. What's the point of lying if you know people are hanging on to your every word and you're going to be caught anyway? It makes no sense...which probably means it's not true.

Methinks CNN is still mad at Trump for calling them fake news and now they want to take it out on his surrogate. Kellyanne's mild-mannered and seems to mean well, but she's got a job to do. My guess is CNN is not going to cut off their remaining connection to the White House.

CNN considers permanent ban for Kellyanne Conway over

I would love to see other networks start refusing to put this blatant liar on the air.

I cannot think of a better way for CNN to get BANNED from any and every Whitehouse briefing or press release. I hope they are stupid enough to do this, thereby placing themselves and their ratings in the dustbin of history.

Go ahead CNN... shoot yourselves in the foot. See if I care.

The Trump camp seems to be stuck in AM Talk radio mindset. They still think they can get away with saying anything. That's why Rush won't ever run for anything with all his infinite wisdom. And it's why Trump won't be allowed to address Parliament during a state visit. I guess the Brits have standards and refuse to have their intelligence insulted by American AM talk radio right wing political blather.

Well it must be, since the White House wants her to be on the network.

Either that or they are telling her to go jump into a void.

Take your pick.

Hmm.

I don't think that Trump cares at all about appearing on CNN.

Maybe not, but if he only sends his surrogates to appear on Fox, his message will only get out to the true believers.

If Trump were to appear on CNN, then the 74 million people that didn't vote for him and some of the 92 million non-voters would hear his world view, although he may have to bring Pence along to filter out the absurdities.
