The drive-by hit pieces are becoming prolific. The media publishes quick, tiny retractions when they're caught but the damage is already done.
They know it. And since there are no repercussions, they continue to do it.
Well, that is what they are doing for some time. NYT/Wapoo publishes some article based on a hidden leak from WH. CNN/MSNBC creates a discussion show on their TV referencing to NTY/Wapoo article. Then journalists from CNN/MSNBC raises questions based on these articles during WH press briefings. This is what they are doing for last couple of weeks.
