I'm a minority myself, and I don't mind at all when my culture is being "appropriated" as long as it's not being done so with mean-spirited intentions (i.e. Purposefully trying to humiliate/demean/demonize us). Intent is everything!

Inherently wrong? With that kind of restrictive thinking we can kiss Mardi Gras goodbye... St. Patrick's Day is doomed. I would probably skip the false mustache. I don't have many themed parties but I enjoy cultural differences. What about a Luau? Cajun?
