No, those that took this statement at face value.
Most likely yes.
And fine, buy whomevers coffee you want. I will continue to buy theirs and many other small roasters coffees.

Here is one commercial - funny! No idea why there are Spanish subtitles. Everyone should support small, American owned businesses

Why only small American owned businesses? Why not large ones that have already fulfilled their promise to hire veterans?

I love the commercial though.

Which stores are they working in and what is their job(s)? Asking because over the past nearly 10 years now I've regularly frequented tens of dozens of stores throughout San Francisco and all within 30 mile radius of San Francisco, and all I've ever seen working there are 20 some year olds who are either living at home or living in college dorms. The managers are slightly older, say between 25 and 35. None have told me that they are vets, not a one. I'm a vet and so I'm sort of looking for these people to talk with. Not met a one working at Starbucks though.

What a lefty and anti-American company!!!
From that article, they mention that the Starbucks on bases are hiring vets. OK, that's a much different thing then the Starbucks in the civilian world. I've got first hand experience being stationed overseas on U.S. Military installations and basically those jobs on base are reserved in big part for military dependents like wives and such. They (Starbucks) doesn't really have much of a choice in that matter, because they've got to follow the rules of the base. The military reserves jobs on base for dependents as a form of benefit for service members to except orders overseas. Baskin & Robins, Subway (sandwiches), McDonalds, Mrs. Fields cookies, just to name a few do the very same thing.

So when you are including Starbucks on bases, they (Starbucks) are only following the contract, but then turning around and making it out as though they (Starbucks) are the ones making this hiring decision on the bases.

Oh wait a minute, they don't have coffee shops but there are places you can buy it. Here are two near me:
https://www.blackriflecoffee.com/pag...d-coffee-shops

Patriot Firearms Solutions:
3501 S. Sterling Suite H, Independence, MO 64052

Target Time Defense LLC:
2410 NW South Outer Rd, Blue Springs, MO 64015

Go ahead and do a Google maps search for those addresses, and see what you get.
