It's almost as if a foreign policy based on systematically denigrating every country that's not the US makes people consider the US unwelcoming. Fancy that.

To the US? Not as many as did last year. That's what "a 6.5% negative variation compared with the equivalent eight-day period the year before" means.

As to who would? Northern Europeans taking a winter break looking for a bit of sunshine in, say, Florida. Except not as many, these days.

A lot of my online Canadian friends have already canceled their vacations to the US and will go elsewhere.
The word will get around Canadians aren't really welcome:

They were coming to buy Ivanka shoes at Nordstrums. Now thanks to Libs they are staying home and ordering off Amazon.

Because a muslim wearing a hijab represents the typical average Canadian right? Not so much. But it might be your typical Canadian(or European) some time in the future if they continue to allow in muslims whose religion of Islam wants to spread and conquer the world. And as the world's fastest growing religion they are migrating and on pace to eventually fulfill that goal if liberals continue to accommodate them. In large enough numbers they will become more empowered and turn against the well intentioned fools who welcomed them in.

If travel to the US is down right now its probably a temporary phase. Emotions are running high now, and tourists who are too turned off by the US right now to visit will get over it eventually. And we shouldn't base our policies on how well liked it will make us in the eyes of the rest of the world. Sensible people will understand and respect that we're refocusing on this country's needs first right now. We're on track to going about business the way most countries already have been, and that is; in our own best interests.
