I've been fascinated by the left's vitriol for Ivanka Trump. Here she is, a strong successful woman that you would think feminists would celebrate, but because of her last name she is scorned and ridiculed.
I suspect Hillary is the closest women are going to come to a female president for a couple more generations.

She and her hubby, who happens to be inside the close circle of advisors to Trump ( totally against all nepotism laws... she has sat at the table during talks with foreign leaders selling her products ( again against all common sensical repo-laws) .. Ivanka with her husband made the DECISION to move whole am-damily to DC and become part and parcel of TRUMP's Administration.
Why outcry~~~ Because cautionary warning that Trump was in it to win it for PERSONAL GAIN! This personal gain INCLUDES his children too! Trump's tweets actually outs just what Trump is all about!! Personal gain.. using his personal estate properties to CHARGE Taxpayers for use of PERSONAL property to GAIN.
Just when will GOP Congress what Trump is all about.. Getting premièred is the least of their worries!! Kissing his RING and allowing Trump to flaunt his bullying to force allegiance will come back to haunt them all!
Point is ~~ DO YOUR JOB is the message~ I do think this movement is ahead of Tea Party uprising back in 2009... and doubt very much it's going to abate!! Look out GOP Candidates come 2018 election cycle! Feet will be held to the fire!! Complacency of yesteryear is GONE~~ No longer off year elections will be ignored!!
As a woman, I do not identify with women who are liberal. I actually cringe every time I see one of them interviewed. I feel embarrassed by them and surely hope the world doesn't see them as representative of American women. They are angry, bitter shrews.
All of the women in my family on both sides are quite privileged people, and all of them are well educated. Most of them live in California, but they also live in four other states (that I can think of off the top of my head) as well. The seemingly happiest among them self identify as conservatives, love to laugh, and take what they dedicate themselves to very seriously, but don't take themselves too seriously. They don't carry a sober nature to the point where it would interfere with their joie de vivre. The one who appears to be THE happiest is the only one who isn't white, and she is also the least privileged (although still very well off) financially.
The seemingly least happy (how others see them, in addition to the complaints they voice) among them (before the 2016 election, but even more so since) are very progressive feminist atheists who have, over the years, dedicated some of their free time to being activists.
.....and I don't mean just 'less satisfied' because of the state of things or a lack of what they see as enough progress....I truly mean seemingly less happy.
Is there any evidence that Nordstom is being vindictive in pulling her clothing line from their stores because of who her father is? Their story is the clothing line is just not selling well enough to devote shelf space to her products so it should be understandable they drop the product line as i have no doubt they have done in the past with other retailer brands. Not to worry i'm sure daddy will buy her some other form of business enterprise .

Exactly.....That has been the problem with stagnant status quo politics. I would think you'd be celebrating that change.
Embrace change, make it work for you. No matter how you feel about our President, you have to admit he has gotten people off their laurels.
Smart people would work within our Gov't, and affect change, not just carry signs and verbally and physically accost people.
