In fairness to Chelsea, democrats wouldn't be able to advance their agendas if they told the truth.
Fully agree -- but the naivete' within much of the Trump camp is almost as depressing.
The Democrats' long-time strategy of pushing oversimplified perspectives and "remedies" was clearly exposed in the 2016 election; contrast California -- "the land of fruits, nuts and Snowflakes" -- with Rust Belt states like Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania, where more among a somewhat-older and better-assimilated population recognizes what they have to lose.
If we are to preserve our nation's position and reputation as one of the most prominent among the handful of societies with true parliamentary democracies, the franchise must be linked to minimal standards of education and citizenship. That's what the stable anchor of American statecraft, of every ethnic background understands, but the SJW's and rabble-rousers don't.
