First there were the reports that Andy Puzder, Donald Trump’s labor secretary nominee, was facing*opposition from Republicans. Then came the whining from sources close to the multi-millionaire snowflake about all the abuse he was taking. (Poor baby.) After that, it didn’t take long for Puzder to reportedly follow through and withdraw from consideration
Senate GOP urges White House to withdraw Puzder nomination
Can't link the article properly from my phone, but CNN is reporting some GOP Senators have urged the White House to withdraw Puzder's nomination for Labor Secretary due to lack of votes. At least four Republicans are confirmed no votes, possibly up to 12, all Democrats are no votes as well.
According to one source, Puzder's wife has retracted this old allegation of spousal abuse.
"But his ex-wife Lisa Fierstein's decades-old abuse allegations, which she has since retracted, generated the most attention in the days before his committee hearing."
