My theory is that the Russians were able to hack the voting machines in states that uses older models not hooked to a central, on-line system...They hacked the code in the jump drives used to update software in that type of machine...they skewed certain % of HRC votes to Trump-- just enough to eak out a majority...
Which in fact gave Trump victory in 3 states he didn't anticipate...that the polls predicted would go to HRC...
And that gave him a victory in electoral college...
It wasn't the polls that were incorrect...it was the vote totals...

In those particular states there is NO PAPER TRAIL to facilitate a recount...which makes tampering with code in those jump drives an almost undetectable way to commit voter fraud...
Much better than putting people on busses in MA and driving into NH...for such a low electoral vote return...

Anyone who knows even a little about cyber security knows that Trojan viruses can be designed to self destruct after they are executed so they are very, very difficult to detect...
I have no idea if those jump drives are wiped after a certain time (like after the election results are certified)
If so maybe the code exists in the machines themselves but have no idea how possible it would be to analyze.

There is also a news story published weeks ago that detailed a hacker caught selling security codes to access the interior of voting systems in some US states...this guy was selling the access info on dark web...
Apparently he had no used any of the codes to get into,the states' system...
He just stole lot of password info and tried to,find buyers for it...
And he was found AFTER the election...
But if he could get it then it stands to reason other, more sophisticated, hackers could as well...
And we know fromFBI info that multiple states' voting systems supposedly had attempted hack that didn't get into the back rooms...
Maybe, maybe not...

I really think this election WAS hacked...
Call me paranoid, a conspiracy nut, whatever...may not ever be proven...but I still think Trump did not win this election w/o Russian help...and that is why his "legitimacy" is such as issue in HIS mind, why he is on such a short fuse re election fraud with all the wrong examples...

You can't seem to figure out (or more likely, do not WANT to figure out) that the pushback to Trump has little to do with "liberalism". I has everything to do with the fact that the man is a nutcase. You are right the American people are certainly figuring out they did not get what they wanted - which was a President that could take them down a new path without destroying everything in his wake. Everyone wants change - but not change at any cost, that's a recipe for disaster, isn't it?

As far as why he won, anyone with the weakest critical thinking skills can see that. 120 million potential voters (more or less), sat idly by while Trump and Clinton split minority votes of the people that bothered to go to the polls. Trying to posit that Trump has some sort of mandate is as ridiculous as suggesting that Clinton would have had a mandate had she won.

This may be wishful thinking on my part however I think if VP de facto took the Presidency, Mr. Bannon would be the first to go. & hopefully steer So-called President's pick for SOS away from the war mongering with China.
