For God's sake, he is the President of the United States, with aides and staff who can research and verify FACTS, yet he PREFERS to blast out inaccuracies and outright lies because it makes him look better and shores up his views.
Trump is not fooling anyone, he KNOWS every time he is telling some whopper, he just knows that his supporters will not care, and he can push it off as "The lying press !"
