Even the Mexican owned blog & tabloid, the New York Times says that leftists have gone too far with their violent riots, complete derangement, name calling, you name it. It's actually helping Trump's popularity.

And here is the first post in this thread again, to which I just referred in my previous comment. Once again, these statements are completely inaccurate. The New York Times did NOT make the comments WaldoKitty ascribes to it - they QUOTED someone they interviewed, and he, Bryce Youngquist of Mountain View, CA made the negative comments.
As badly as some here would like to believe that the NYT has made the statements attributed to it by WaldoKitty, that's just not so. One of their reporters quoted someone else's comment in a news article.
WaldoKitty's post and the title of this thread which he named and started are incorrect, mistaken, false, and whatever variation on that theme others may care to use. I will leave discerning his motives up to others who may read and/or post here. They seem evident to me, however.

The NYT Editor told us he'd happily go to jail if it meant stopping Trump from winning.
And he later issued a public apology for the NYT coverage of the election.
NYT is a self-confessed MESS and a disgrace to humanity.
The noise , the shouting, the throwing of bricks and bottles and the tearful displays of many anti-Trump protestors will show to be purely self destructive. As, facing the reality of blatant hypocrisy and wanton behavior will weaken the Democrat party even further. To realize what they really are , as opposed to what they think they are, is not going to end nicely for Democrats.
All the protests around the world i see are peaceful affairs those bottle and brick throwing incidents are perpetrated by a handful of anarchists who use any large protest as a way to create mayhem.its rather disingenuous to label all Democrats or liberals by the actions of a few hooligans.

Huge big difference there. Please take note, readers of and contributors to this thread. Distinguishing news coverage from opinion pieces should be taught in middle school, as it used to be. I remember learning about editorials in seventh grade.
It's clear to any critically thinking adult that it's opinion.

They lean liberal, sure, but but aside from the mishandled election, something that bothered the "leftists" voting for the other Democratic candidate, how unfair is the NYT really? Yeah, they're critical of Trump. It's their job. Really, they should have been critical of Obama and should be tearing a hole into Paul Ryan. Media's flawed, but not in the way Trump and his cattle seem to "think."
The perception of the NYT as a liberal propaganda machine has nothing to do with Trump saying so and his supporters simply accepting it. Many people considered the NYT a liberal propaganda machine long before Trump came on the political scene. As others have mentioned, some NYT editors have acknowledged the liberal slant.
How unfair is the NYT really, you ask. Very. The bias is terrible on politics, as you seem to acknowledge in comparing the paper's treatment of Obama vs. Trump. It's even worse on social issues such as lgbtq, abortion, crime, and the like.
