I am amused by the Russian reaction to the realization that The Donald's promise to eliminate sanctions and tacitly approve the Crimean land grab and the War in Ukraine is no longer valid. Like many of the true believers in this country Trump flim-flamed the Russians.
So much for a series of luxury Trump hotels in Russia.
Vladimir Putin is on a bit of a hot streak among Republicans of late.
In new Gallup polling, more than 3 in 10 Republicans have a favorable view of Putin — almost three times the percentage who said the same in 2015.
I guess they see the handwriting on the wall. New American era where we have elected a President who supports and adulates murderous and deeply corrupted Russian thug like Putin. Time to get with the program, right? Otherwise they might be getting with the pogrom instead somewhere down the road.
A working relationship with a peaceful Russia could be a good thing. However, if they start rebuilding the Soviet era empire that is another.
