Well, since no one twisted his arm to do any of this we can start by asking he not be made some kind of phony hero for choosing to feed his massive ego.
We could save billions just by trimming the fat from the defense budget. More billions still if we stop playing world cop. A line item veto would go far as well.

When I worked for Socail Security during the bush years, we had to bring in our own reams of paper if we wanted to print claims for citizens. Also, our own paper, pens, pencils, staples, etc. The only thing that was provided was a printer & ink for it. And we were admonished if we used too much of it when printing claims when people wanted paper copies of their transactions. Yeah, I've worked for 'lean' government before - trump isn't anything new.
Just saw on Faux News, so you know it's true! Trump held a conference and said the Fed Govt will be "leaner" and not waste the taxpayers money anymore.
(Not counting his weekend trips to Florida and jet setting family of course.)
The day he firmly does away with this 125 BILLION yearly - already found and which will not change anything in the military - is the day I start believing a single word he says.
