I'm good with easily accessible birth control and investing in the PR/ads to encourage it. All over the world.

Here in the US, perhaps an increase in manufacturing jobs. That is super complex, involving environmental concerns, and a change in culture.

I'll become an artist.

BTW, who is volunteering to fix toilets and clean out septic systems? Probably nobody, so we will have to learn to put up with people defecating in the streets, rivers and parks.

Just make it voluntary. When, inevitably, some people scream about it, just ignore them. Encouraging people who don't have the means to raise children to practice birth control is the moral and correct thing to do. It's right for the people in poverty and it's right for society.

How many do I have to repeat this? Poverty does not stem from the lack of money. The problem of poverty cannot be solved by us throwing money at it.

Unfortunately, impoverished people do not have the mental capacity to understand this. So, making it voluntary just won't cut it.

Have you ever worked with poor people before? You know what the NUMBER 1 thing in their lives? Kids. When young teens are pregnant, they are congratulated by others around them. The guys who impregnated the girls would high five each other even though they have no intention of supporting the mom or kid. Furthermore, there is a movement that is picking up right now among very poor men in America to exclude themselves from being on the birth certificate of their kids. They think this is a great idea because they don't have to be responsible for anything.

We have spent $20 trillion since 1965 in the War on Poverty.

Let's face the facts. Poverty won the war.

It's probably time for us to quit throwing money at the problem and ask Poverty for their terms of surrender.

Voluntary, as in they aren't forced to take birth control. Women in poverty could be given a shot of depo provera and receive a check at the same time. Many will gladly take a shot for a check. Or if they are scared of needles, offer long-term birth control implant and a monthly check for the duration of the time that the implant is good for. We could also pay men in poverty to have vasectomies. Whatever they choose, it has to be their choice. And some will still protest a program like this, but it's the right thing to do.
