I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's habit forming being that 1 in 4 people that smoke weed habitually smoke it. I smoked a 10 sack a day for almost a decade. Once I quit, it was easy to stay away from, but quitting weed was one of the most difficult things I've ever done. Add to this the fact that I lost a lot of friends in the process. One thing that you'll find about quitting weed is how many drug based relationships you have. It's crazy when I look back and see what most of those people are doing these days. Most of them still burn all day and work dead end jobs. It's like groundhogs day for some of these poor saps.
Anyways......no, just no man LOL
I am guessing you are leaving out some crucial details about your mental health or other things you may have been doing at the time. OR, you are lying about ever smoking it.
It's addictive. If it wasn't, you wouldn't feel like **** or lose your mind when you quit after long periods of heavy use.
No, it's not as physically addictive as booze, crack, or heroin; however, it is in fact incredibly habit forming. Nobody would smoke their paycheck away to get it if it wasn't.
I remember when my attitude toward pot was like yours. That all ended when I finally grew up and realized that I was full of ****and merely justifying my addiction.
I have absolutely no problem with legalized marijuana, but to say that it's not addictive is beyond retarded with the amount of evidence that exists in society.
A drug is a drug is a drug....Class dismissed
There is a difference between addiction and habit forming. You don't feel like **** quitting pot.
Please provide "the amount of evidence that exists in society."
I'm 100% in agreement with legalization but there is a right way and wrong way to do things. The Obama administration chose the wrong way. We area nation of laws and what you are seeing is the consequences of two Attorney Generals that have decided they were not going to do their jobs by enforcing the laws on the books. If they wanted to legalize pot he should of stood at the lectern and said lets legalize pot and had Congress to act.
What are you talking about?
The Obama administration did not favor legalizing marijuana.
It's congress that is in charge of federal drug laws. Please provide evidence - any evidence at all - that congress was willing to do such a thing. In particular, please point to anything that McConnell and Boehner/Ryan ever said supporting legalization.
States legalizing marijuana in the face of federal opposition are doing just as states legalizing gay marriage did. It's interesting that in quite a few cases, it was/is the same states.
