Apparently the Donald's press secretary pulled a stunt today and took selected Press Pool members, plus pro Trump outlets, from the daily briefing and moved them to a private setting. Anyone else at the daily press briefing was excluded. When the entire group tried to move with the selected pool, they were blocked.
Bannon said yesterday we "were never going to get our country back. Never". This is another major step in that direction.
Whatever your politics, controlling the Army (cabinet) and now attempting to control the news media are two BIG steps toward an autocratic government. This MUST be stopped before all of our rights are co-opted by a lunatic.
Maybe those that were banned will realize if they are NOT going to "report" the truth, then they are not worthy of being considered the "press" and will be put in the same category as the National Enquirer and the likes of Huff Post.

This is a total lie and a fabrication. But, there is no law that says the President must hold Press Conferences, and when he does, he is entitled to exclude those who have shown they are not honest, and whose purpose is to lie and misrepresent what the administration says and does. That, unfortunately, describes much of the leftist controlled media, who are not journalists, but propagandists. What they do used to be called "yellow journalism."

Excluding media in order to manipulate other new sources into giving positive coverage is completely dictatorial. This is a very dangerous path to take but Trump supporters have become so cultish now that they can't see it. Intellectual honestly is lost on them.

I disagree with this. Why? Because it gives a future Democratic administration room to get payback by banning right wing news media.
This is setting a dangerous precedent. Left or right ... it's not good for our country.

You don't think a "Fox News" will pull any story that is even remotely objective about Trump for fear of being excluded in the future? Come on, this is a way to tell other media "give only positive stories or we will not take you into the little room for our special media meeting".
