The post says if democrats don't change their platform and methods, they will have to get used to losing in most red states which are growing based on the last Trump win.

Wow. Big message. Let's see if we see any changes..
Did you take a big blow to the head, who hurt you?

Losing is not so bad when you can force Republicans to take untenable positions in order to win. The seats in congress and state victories won by Republicans were won by promising things from the agenda of the religious right and most of it won’t pass constitutional mustard. Now that they have “won” everything, They have two years to; defeat ISIS , repeal and replace ACA, build the wall, deport 11 million people, make abortion illegal, bring back coal, bring back obsolete rust belt industries,……I could go on but you get the picture.

IMO none of it can be done as well as a dozen other pie in the sky legislations that the religious right will ask them to deliver, now that they have all this “power.” Political movements are long term and the position that the Democratic Party is in now is part of the Clinton era movement to the center. That’s why Perez is the better choice for DNC. The last thing the Democratic Party needs is to let happen to them what Republicans let happen. They won alright, but they are saddled with one of the least capable people to lead their party and they have got a laundry list of the impossible to deliver. Enjoy your power.

America would be a much better place if the dems become less progressive. Then all that's needed is to stop the progressive right from looking out for us from cradle to grave.

The Democratic party is an excellent shape, winning the popular VOTE in the last election is proof of that! The Dems would have also win the General Election if Putin had not placed his paws in the mix!

Nice try. After losing over 1000 seats nationwide over the last 8 years in virtually every form of government, losing the Presidency was just icing on the cake.

Next up, the Supreme Court and an expected 100+ judicial appointments over the next 4 years.

Take stock, as the D party falls apart and you lose more congressional seats in 2 years.

Very true; however, this is the first time some of the losers have crumpled into sniveling crybabies starting protests, causing violent riots, and needing therapy animals to survive the day.

It speaks a lot of their lack of maturity, how to deal with losing, how to learn from it, and how to move on.

I will clarify that not all liberals are acting in such inappropriate ways; the pot stirrers are actually the minority; but the liberal-biased MSM boasts about it day and night to try and make the public believe the majority of the population is ready for a mass walkout.

focus on economy in mainstream ways like DLC once did -via more economical lower tax gov't.. Ignore fringe issues like Transgender sideshow-leave it local issue.
