Trump is doing the right thing. These people will never treat him with respect. One doesn't go where one is obviously not wanted. They made their beds ... they can lie in them without him. They can have one heck of an incestuous orgy without him to pick on. They should all be happy as clams he won't be attending.
I feel the need to point out that respect is earned. Respect should also go both ways. Trump is disrespectful of so many different types of people it's just not worth naming them all. He will never be respected as long as he behaves as he does. Mean-spirited, arrogant, critical and self-aggrandizing...that will never gain respect.

Fact, Trump couldn't handle the humor at his expense at the last WHCD.

Opinion, Trump peed in his pants at the mockery, paid prostitutes to "get back" by peeing on a bed occupied by the Obamas.

Fact, Trump is unwilling to attend the WHCD during his presidency.

Question; How can you not be embarrassed by a Trump presidency?

Dear,

Your topic has failed. There was no boycott. Trump said during the campaign that he didn't believe in this dinner. Everyone but the Trump deranged agrees that it was nothing but a lovefest between Obama and Reporters.

As I said, if he had gone, then one of you would have created a topic to call him a hypocrite. Most likely because some hack at CNN or WaPo had done it.

The losers are still mad. They should be mad at the dumb pollsters who lied to them ,the fake news liberals making them all look stupid. They would love to roast Trump and all those adorable deplorables.

Interesting quote from Wikipedia

"The WHCD has been increasingly criticized as an example of the coziness between the White House press corps and the Administration.[7] The dinner typically includes a skit, either live or videotaped, by the sitting president in which he mocks himself, for the amusement of the press corps.[7] The press corps, in turn, hobnobs with Administration officials, even those who are unpopular and are not regularly cooperative with the press.[7] Increasing scrutiny by bloggers has contributed to added public focus on this friendliness.[7]

After the 2007 dinner, New York Times columnist Frank Rich implied that the Times will no longer participate in the dinners.[8] Rich said that the event is "a crystallization of the press's failures in the post-9/11 era" because it "illustrates how easily a propaganda-driven White House can enlist the Washington news media in its shows."[8]

In recent years, the dinners have drawn increasing public attention, and the guest list grows "more Hollywood".[3] The attention given to the guest list and entertainers often overshadows the intended purpose of the dinner, which is to "acknowledge award-winners, present scholarships, and give the press and the president an evening of friendly appreciation."[3] This has led to an atmosphere of coming to the event only to "see and be seen."[3] This usually takes place at pre-dinner receptions and post-dinner parties hosted by various media organizations, which are often a bigger draw and can be more exclusive than the dinners themselves

Doesn't sound like he's missing much. Bravo to Trump for not playing the game as it has been played.

This is why I voted for the guy.
President Trump has the strength of his convictions.

I'm surprised the press is still having it, given their attitudes toward the President. Sounds like pandering.

Make no mistake President Trump is our President. His heart is in this, as a patriotic U.S. citizen.

How is there 11 pages here? Seriously.

It's very simple. Trump is too thin skinned of an egomaniac to handle this.

The press would use this opportunity not for a little ribbing but as an attack platform.

Having the Trump/press feud helps nobody. Since they can't play nice together, they should be separated as much as possible while they get over it.
