Governors will be meeting this week and will be discussing, in part, some of the infrastructure projects they would like to see.

When Obama came into office in 2009, he had a Democractic majority, and passed a huge infrastructure spending bill. What were the successes from this?

Our major airports are still a mess, our highways are still a mess, so what actually got done?

Not trying to attack Obama (I actually voted for the guy) but I believe he did very little to fix the nation's infrastructure. Nothing stands out. And I do not remember the details but I believe a large portion of the 2009 stimulus package (American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009) was wasted on pet projects to local governments that had nothing to do with stimulating the economy or fixing infrastructure.

Having said that, I am sure that during his 8 years in the White House, thousands of projects were funded. Even if they had more to do with the Congress then President Obama. Also, Obama did push for alternate sources of energy.
