I'm a Trump supporter and I'll definitely be watching the Oscars. I enjoy seeing my favorite actors and rooting for them. I'm rooting for Denzel to knock out Affleck for best actor. I also enjoy some of the musical numbers and, yes, I like to see what they're wearing.
As for the political b*tching, I expect it. However, I will remind my fellow Trump supporters that freedom of speech is a part of being great again. God knows, I b*tched enough about Obama (you did too), so turnabout is fair play.
Freedom of speech? This will be more like a 4 hours commercial for liberals. Conservatives are run out of town. I understand and respect your first paragraph, but freedom of speech doesn't exist in Hollywood. You'll be run out of town if you're not a liberal.
This show will last a few hours. Trumps presidency will last 4-8 years. Not too worried.
Let the "PhoneyWood" group have their fun and their couple of hours ranting and raving. It's actually hilarious to listen to their crybaby sore-loser comments.
All the show is about is the L.A. L.A. Land liberals putting on the ritz and patting each other on the back in public - then stabbing each other in the back the next day.
As I told the OP, campaigning is not volunteering for causes. Campaigning has been going on for years. I don't necessarily agree with it but it is what it is.
My post was a response to Katzpaw asking about a link to a source about Hollywood types campaigning to look like altruistic heros in a bid for the Oscars.
I just supplied the link, I can't think of much I care less one way or the other than how these Hollywood whatzerhernsmes groom themselves in preparation for the Oscars, or for that matter their lives, careers or the Oscars.
Wow. Black on white murder story (OJ) and the guy dedicates award to police brutality victims??
It was a good documentary though. Lol
Besides, it showed the paradox of how Black America rallied behind OJ despite him showing his back to racial justice throughout his celebrity life up until the murder.
Wow, it got real quiet in this forum once the Oscars started. Even the don't-watchers are quiet.
Hold it down, Homeland is on.
