She was talking about an actor's portrayal of everyday people. At least that's the way I took it. In other words, just living your life to the best of your ability is an achievement to be celebrated, and actors often depict ordinary people.

Who on Earth is qualified to compare those 5 films in different languages? It's a completely arbitrary award. Language cannot simply be translated.
