Obviously we don't want more pollution or contaminated water. This administration sounds like they are going to cut a lot of domestic programs. I wonder who is behind this Trump or Bannon?

After 8 years of Obama running 2 wars, invading several countries our equipment is shot to hell.

We've go to spend money just to stay in fighting strength. Obama neglected this with NO budget.

I guess you forgot about the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan and Iraq. Obama was known for his drone strikes, and they are inexpensive compared to ground invasions.

anything to back that up?

EPA is not doing anything much more now than it did under bush and you guys had little to no problems with it then.

In fact there was no real crying from the rightwing until the uber wealthy were told that burning coal for power would need to be cleaner. then and only then did the right start to really hate the EPA.

YOU don't hate the EPA, it protects your family, your friends your future. But you were told to hate it. you were told "it is out of control" "it is too big" "too many regs" ...

But up until then most MOST MOST GOP members supported a strong EPA.

Why have you all suddenly decided you don't love America and don't love your kids and don't love wildlife?

What happened... gop trying to sell off millions of acres of public lands and wants to dump waste directly into rivers....

With? No.

These major cuts are to offset the cost.

I feel great about it.

The EPA, IRS, etc. Needs to be downsized severely, audited, and sued, and prosecuted.

I saw somewhere where some in congress want the civil service, cut by up to 20%. It grew hugely over the Obama years.

Not everybody here will agree with seeing major cuts to domestic programs that help Americans. Yes I understand cutting foreign aid, that makes sense..... but programs that help our own people? Nope I respectfully disagree!
