For anyone that feels like this administration is going to take the country int he right direction, I genuinely feel sorry for you.

As a hardcore liberal, at this point I would do ANYTHING for Cruz, Rubio, Kasich, or Jeb to be president. At least they know how to be a politician. Trump is an idiot.

Yeah, great idea. Let's put another say-anything-politician in there.

Since set a low bar for himself, his average speech exceeded expectations.

The overly long, over-the-top tribute to the Navy SEAL widow was a masterful deflection from a poorly executed raid. We'll see more of this: when Trump stumbles, he will use emotional appeals to nationalism to cover his errors.
That was my general take on it, too.

Am I "progressive"? -- Yes, I would like to see more progress in society where the middle class can get affordable healthcare, college without debt, and good jobs.

Do I support socialism? -- I support a mix of capitalism and socialism. There are some things that the private sector is better at, while others are best done with collectivism.

Do I agree with Karl Marx? -- No, I reject communism, it failed miserably. Marx was right though that politics is a struggle between rich and poor. And he is right that if the free market is unregulated, companies merge together and form monopolies that make them richer while we get poorer.

Here's who I don't believe. The Trump Deranged who pick apart every irrelevant detail in order to make a case.

Of course these are the same people who believe that Putin has mind controlled Americans and who insisted that Hillary had a Blue Wall that could not be broken. This speaks for itself.

PSST, He ISN'T running anymore. He IS the President.
Could you give an hour long well presented speech without a teleprompter?

Yup. It's like the F student in class who gives a C+ presentation. People are stunned, they clap, cheer, give encouragement, are happy for him ... but at the end of the day it's still C+ work.

I want government waste cut as much as anyone, but not at the expense of our security and well-being.

In 2013, General Mattis who is now our Secretary of Defense, said if State Department funding gets cut "then I need to buy more ammunition." So what has changed since then? Yet Trump wants to slash the State Dept budget.

Also, Trump's comments about the FDA regulations were frightening. It already approves drugs too quickly, faster than any other nation. I was attacked last night for mentioning this (although I don't know why) but Trump's comments about FDA regulations have absolutely nothing to do with Megan Crowley or her brother. They both have a rare disease that is genetic and must be carried by both parents. Cutting funding for Medical Research, which is what Trump has proposed, would only hurt people like Megan.

I thought the existing minimum requirements were worthy of some merit already, but what do I know about all this sort of thing as compared to those hearing this stuff for the first time from Trump?

You must invest $1,000,000, or at least $500,000 in a targeted employment area (high unemployment or rural area). In return, USCIS may grant conditional permanent residence to the individual.

All the more for Trump to "fix" as far as his supporters are concerned...

Like now this new idea about allowing people with pre-existing conditions to maintain access to health care coverage. Whoa!

Were'd that come from Trump people?
