There are different levels of Trump supporters........some, like you, simply wanted a change for the better. Others wanted to see the world as we know it torn down completely and a new order put in place. He is one of the latter. Doesn't matter who gets hurt or what it does to America, knock it all down !

I'm a Trump supporter, but it's too much. Too many weekend trips on taxpayers dime.

Quite frankly, what is troublesome about it is why Trump supporters didn't see this coming. I mean the guy is NOTHING if not self indulgent!!!!!! Among a host of other despicable personality traits.
I can agree with this being unnecessary as well. A few times is fine but several times a month is definitely is absurd. He needs to realize that now that he's POTUS, he simply can't "run down to FL for the weekend" like he used to. There is simply too much cost involved.
