Pence is equally as guilty as Hillary of using private emails for public business, and here we have him as our VP! Should we "lock him up" as we wanted to do with Hillary, or does it not matter because he won the election and Hillary lost?

Here are some of Vice President Mike Pence's AOL emails

There are already threads about this.

#1 It isn't illegal in Indiana and Indiana has his emails.

#2 We don't have all of Hillary's emails, Hillary had a maid without security clearance access, print off, and handle classified information on multiple occasions, Hillary would send emails on her cell phone in foreign countries unsecured via foreign owned telecoms including China and Russia, etc....

It isn't an Apples to Apples comparison if we are being honest.

If Pence did break a law, he shouldn't get the Hillary treatment and a free pass.

There is significant difference between a private email server and a private email account. With a private email account like AOL there is going to be logs and other information available to investigators. A company like AOL may even keep a shadow copy of such emails for a very long time. Using such a service to hide your actions is not advisable because you do not have control of the content.

On other hand when you have a private email server the records for those emails can only exist on the server (sitting in Hillary's basement in this case), devices used to read them and servers they were sent to. For example if Hillary sent a whole bunch of emails to someone at AOL and obliterated all traces of that on the server and her devices it would be impossible for investigators to determine they were sent to begin with. Taking that step further if both email accounts reside on that server all traces of them could be erased.

No he isn't just as guilty. How many top secret national security issues are covered by the Indiana governor? Setting up a private server explicitly to avoid government oversight is nothing like using a private email account to do state business.

If you do think he broke the law where is your support to lock Hillary up?

I don't know. Did he allow top secret Federal information to leak to foreign powers? No, I guess he didn't so there is no comparison at all. Pence did not compromise the security of the US. Hillary did, and she went to great lengths to hide her crimes.

Yeah that is what I was thinking when this came out.
Pence as Governor used an email server that was allowed by law and everyone knew about it. He didn't try to hide anything and what foreign power would even care about his Emails.

Hillary on the other hand was Secretary of State and she had top secret items on her server that would be of interest to foreign powers and were no doubt hacked. She was subpoenaed by a Senate panel to turn over her emails, given 2 weeks to do so and as we found out she deleted at least 30,000 that she deemed unimportant to the inquiry. What?

That is like telling a drug dealer that his house will be searched in 2 weeks.
She lied lied lied about this email scandal and it cost her the election.
She should have been running from the cops not running for office.

It is just insane double standard, Pence should be ashamed and should publicly supplicate himself to the public.

He's upset that the AP posted his wife's email address. I guess leaks are bad when they don't benefit you.

The difference is: Hillary is a much hated, dirty low-life that nobody wanted for president.
