The only question is how long it will take.

I was hoping it wouldn't unravel until middle of the 2018 campaign, but things seem to be picking up speed.

I would encourage Trump's ardent supporters here to get paid up front.

No matter how many times you post this, blaming Flint on Obama, the federal EPA or even the mayor of Flint is still ridiculous.

"Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder and other state officials are “fundamentally accountable” for the lead contamination of Flint’s water supply, according to a report Wednesday from a panel appointed by the governor to investigate the crisis."

Trimming regulations could be helpful if unnecessary. But many regulations are needed, so we obviously cannot eliminate them all. Taxes should always be lower, corp even zero. That said, you can bet that foreign countries will lower theirs to stay competitive.

This is capitalism at work. We get cheap stuff, real goods and wealth, and we exchange our fiat. Fiat we can create at will. This is a great deal for most of America. Just not for those losing their jobs as a result. Extracting oil here will help bring back some jobs. But that won't bring back much manufacturing to the midwest or textiles and furniture to NC.

We do. As I said above imports are real gains. Fiat can be created. We lose vapor and in exchange we get real stuff. Stuff that not only costs more to produce here, but as a result of producing here we have to deal with whatever loss of resources we incur, along with any environmental degradation. So it's not all win win you see?

Simple solution is more - not less - regulation.

This is true to some extent. The effect though is meager from the start, and much of that money comes back home over time.

Same as above. Far and away IMO the major importance is that the drug situation creates crime.

True too. But IMO we can never fully cure this situation, only try and weed out the criminals and make the best of it.

It did not bring the cost of food down at all as it used to. The cost to ship the food has gone down but prices still are high.
If we can't afford to buy anything , they product sits on the shelves and people are laid off because there is no money to buy the product. This leads to a depression when factory workers are laid off.
Those suffering due to long term lack of wage inflation have a serious problem. In the old days people and families moved to where they have better job opportunities. Not so much today. So as a large segment of our people are lagging, the nation as a whole is not. Our standard of living especially for our poor continues to rise despite this. But we need more policy to shore up our rural and former industrial laggers, and that will be difficult as it necessarily has to raise the cost of many goods, and redistribute wealth to those that have lagged.
In AZ food prices are actually down. I agree and remain surprised how little the oil glut did not help. In the '70's oil was a major driver, not so much today.
The USA still remains an industrial powerhouse, and there is no depression coming from laying of more industrial workers. Because they are being replaced by better technology. Stronger production, yet cheaper production. Nothing will stop this progress aside from heavy handed central regulation.

I do not agree that we need more taxes. All that does is help lower our national debt, which I don't worry about. I'd rather our people have more money to spend, increase consumer demands and then encourage more business and jobs.

Harley Davidson said their tariff is 100 percent , this is why our motorcycles are not purchased because the cost is raised drastically , yet we have many Japanese bikes over here with a lower price sticker .
I don't agree with tariffs. They are a focused tax on our people and businesses. Tariffs are simply more central taxing and control. They are instigated in order to favor and protect certain segments of our industry.
In the Reagan years onerous tariffs were placed on large displacement Japanese motorcycles in order to favor and protect Hardley. As a result I was one pissed off consumer, having to pay hundreds more for my Gold Wing. Essentially your tax. No thanks. Hardley was crap compared to Honda back then, and I'm still pissed off.

If we keep sending billions of our dollars out and not selling products in the global economy we are done for.
We can try and bring manufacturing back, but it won't be easy, or quick, and it could easily start trade wars which are good for no American. Except for the laggers I mentioned, if they happened to be in the right place at the right time.
So if you're not a lagger this will cost you more. Fine for me as I'm rich. But for the poor, and the broad middle class not so affected, or even oblivious, they may encounter some onerous inflation.

The globalists want us all on the same playing field in the monetary sense and destroy us from within, with the rich ruling class having the power globally. They cannot do it with our country because it is so much more of a challenge with freedom and democracy.

They want to destroy our greatness , bring us down to the same level as the developing countries. They don't want any country to be sovereign and independent. This is why they bang the drum of opened borders, drugs pouring killing the weak minded for lack of purpose, and putting blacks in the projects and expanding welfare and dependency on government for all who live here. They don't really want charter schools . They want to indoctrinate all the children to think as they do. Opened borders , illegals coming here and our laws and legal system breaking down.

Their plan is complicated and they are working overtime to bring a one world government here . The spirit of anti-American and anti-Christian are here today in full force. They must destroy all allegiance to this country, to its American people and to a religion that gives a belief system that competes with their globalist beliefs. They are working overtime to do this today.

The media is bought and paid for. We must fight back and spread the word of what they have done and trying to do. Indoctrinate many more into this globalist mindset of opened borders and allegiance to other countries people over ours. The democrats have many globalist followers and they don't even know what they are fighting for. It is not the democratic party , it is the globalist party. Look at the fruits of what they say and do.

President Trump is the biggest threat to the globalists. They tried in every way to destroy him . They are still trying with every thing they have to bring Trump down. That is so obvious .

It is a battle. We must win for our country to stay independent. We must put America and Americans first or we will look like Mexico in a very short time. Our debt is choking us. We are in bad shape but Trump is moving to do all he can to bring our greatness back after the globalists have been in charge for some time.

They are destroying our morality, our belief in a God who knows all, and now stand for the greed for power . We have seen the blatant disregard for our laws. We have seen political correctness so harness what is so against what America stands for. Americans have been pushed aside , their jobs taken from them as they have to train foreigners to take their place. Americans are being bullied for standing up for laws and for the respect they should have . Trump and those who have been affected know this to be true.
The big picture is Trump vs. the Globalists. The power struggle now going on.
It's not possible to have a conversation about globalism who doesn't think Paul Ryan is a globalist.

Christianity speaks of converting the world to Christianity. Ultra-capitalists tend to support open borders because free trade is profitable. This mentality exists in both the Republican and Democratic party. The problem with the media is also capitalism. In a world where information 'needs' to be rapidly dispersed and exciting, news is not rapidly pumped out with a high accessibility and little attention to factual detail for the purpose of reaching as many people as quickly as possible, ideally before competitors. Journalism was a casualty of this. Trump's accusation of the mainstream media being fake news is telling of his inability to really examine the issue. Perhaps this can also be blamed on globalism but the real issue isn't as simple as Trump and his fans would like to think.
