You choose to buy a car. You don't choose to trip on the sidewalk and bust your chin open just to get some fancy stitches.

You choose to buy a car. You don't choose to have a heart attack.
Very easy problem to fix. Those who don't carry health insurance, don't get to have car insurance. And if they get caught without car I sure. Throw them in jail.

I pay, but I make. Enough .. Many younger families are in deep trouble. But I do believe the rich want to keep it all, Let the poor die, is probably their plan. They have their slaves making their stuff overseas, what they need poor and middle Americans for ?

According to the CBO numbers this will go well beyond the ACA.

Not saying that it's necessarily a smart thing to do but that doesn't mean that it's ok for the government to force you to buy something that you don't want to buy.

Whether someone "needs" health insurance should be their decision, not arbitrarily commanded by government edict.
What if you had been in an accident, and had latter complications? Was not planned... You were healthy, but oh snap. Well maybe you not been able to work, had go on Medicaid and file bankruptcy if had bills, prop etc.. There just went 10 year penalty ( bad credit) it took a split second...unless mom n pop got a nice egg nest to dip into... Medical can run $1 million in Less than a month. Easy .... Happens more and more every day. but if mom n pop can't bail you out? My taxes will, one way or another...

Then we all pay for them, even more. And they are non-violent offenders.

Very very expensive. Not a really smart plan there. Not to mention the obvious, it's inhumane

Use the market to our advantage...
I think many healthy people would agree, but I can see a sick toddler, with a high fever, in pain turning pale crying mommy... Yea. Won't work

You can't pay your own way if you find out you need an organ transplant. Only multi-millionaires could pay for this. If you don't have insurance or a way to pay, then you don't get the transplant.

How about people that are perfectly healthy one day and they get flesh eating bacteria and spend 30 days in the hospital ICU? Or someone that gets bit by a venomous snake and gets a $150,000 hospital bill.

Yep, someone I know was in the hospital for 2 weeks for major surgery. The bill was in excess of $600k (luckily had insurance). But of course no one thinks of those kinds of "accidents" when they go uninsured... they're only thinking of the $200 Dr. visit.
