Appears you're right:

Excellent presentation this morning that compares ACA to the current proposal - around 1 minute in there is a chart based on the Kaiser Foundation analysis. They are cutting spending for low income (under $26,000) and increasing tax cuts for those above that amount for a deficit reduction of over $300B.

So?

Having access to healthcare should be my choice, not a government mandate.

Also, simply having insurance does not guarantee access.

If your premiums and deductibles are so high that you can't afford to actually use the insurance that you're paying for, then it's useless because all you're doing at that point is paying premiums to subsidize others.

So....what else are you OK with the government telling you that you must purchase whether you want to or not and whether you can actually use it or not?

Because, regardless of what the SC ruled, forcing someone to buy a product that they don't want simply because they exist is unconstitutional AF.

Governing is tough. All the libs need to do is sell RINOcare for worse than it is, like GOP did with ACA, and they will win seats starting in 2018, and by 2020 they'll be repealing this thing.

Unfortunately, the nation as whole gets screwed by all this back and forth nonsense where the government creates and repeals laws just to tickle the ears of their loyalists.

Can someone at least do the math on how much UHC would cost per person as opposed to what we pay now for the private system? I have never seen a neutral study where someone does the math.

That sounds very socialist. Why is it s good plan to let them ride on the backs of tax paying citizens? I can pay for my insurance, but why do I have to pay for yours too?

I don't want to pay for the bridges you cross on a daily basis. I may never use them and if for some reason I have to I'll just find an alternative route.

How do you plan on paying for bridges on your own?

I don't see how you sell taking away heath care from low income and granting tax cuts for others, this is going no where,

Mine did not. Before ACA, the price of health care went up 100% every 7 years. That was awesome.
