That's kind of silly, don't you think?
If you compare the total number of people who watched Obama's inaugurations (either one of them) to Trump's inauguration -- in person, on TV, or live-streaming on the internet -- Trump's inauguration was watched by more people.

The empty patch of grass in the foreground had obstructed views because of the tents and no video screens, so obviously no one would stand there. The first area beyond the tents (on the white tarp) appears to not have video screens, so no one would stand there.

If you look at the areas further back (nearer to the capital), the crowd sizes look similar.

You'll notice that the most heavily crowded areas in the Obama photo are nearer to the foreground of the picture. Why is this? Well, most people probably took the rapid transit to get there considering that driving would be too much of a hassle. Where are the closest rail stations? In the foreground. The closest is on 12th Street which is between the grassy patch and the tents. So if you were getting of the rail line for Trump's inauguration and saw you would have an obstructed view or no video monitors from which to watch and thinking that it would be too crowded up front, you might decide to go back home where you could at least watch it on t.v.

Got it. Riding public transportation is below Trump supporters.

It was if you include TV audience and live-streaming audience.

It's up to tRump to take that first step towards adult behavior. He isn't showing any inclination.

If he does, then his followers will all line up behind him. They blindly accept all of his obvious lies because he tells them to.

As long as he keeps behaving like a spoiled mannerless adolescent, his "base" will follow suit.

Interesting that streaming is brought up. If the crowd lacked video monitors, couldn't they stream it as well?

This "my inauguration was bigger than your inauguration" stuff from the Democrats is like their "my popular vote was bigger than your popular vote."

It's a big nothing burger.

Trump won. You lost.

So get over it, you thumb sucking sore loser cry-bullies.

Stop with your whining, sobbing and carpet-chewing, and "gwow up."

"You wouldn't treat me like this if I hadn't lost!" Sniff, sob.

"But, cha did, Blanche, cha did!"

Bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

Trump won.

Get over it.
Obama won 8 years ago. Guess who hasn't gotten over it yet? Trump and Putin.
