Has he even talked about it?
At what point should the government step in?
Or should anyone care?

Seriously think the president is going to control the obesity problem. Me thinks he has more important matters at hand.
And no the government should not step in and police its citizens weight or eating habits.

It's not the job of the government.

Geez, I can't get over why some people believe the government should have so much power over personal choices.

Hopefully never. The o.p. should worry about what's on their own plate.

So wait, people get mad when Trump signs executive orders, but want him to sign executive orders on how people control their eating habits?

Do you really need the government THAT badly in your lives to not eat 3 Big Macs in a sitting?

Wow OP, with all that's going on, only 47 days in and you're upset he hasn't talked about obesity yet? And people keep insisting politicians and their parties deserve all the blame.

Oh yes, I have no doubt our Dumpling-in-Chief will shine a big light on the obesity problem since he is always very quick to acknowledge his own faults and shortcomings.

Didn't people have conniption fits when Michelle Obama tried to address this issue and offer up feasible options?

IMO, that ranks right up there with deodorant use, proper finger nail length, dress code and appropriate hairstyle. It's a sad day when you require the government to manage your weight.

I generally agree.

However, let's say that the obesity rate increases so much that when i go outside, all I see are 7/10 of persons are overweight. That's unsettling and may hurt my eyes. What point do you say it's a problem?

Also, it is a problem in relation to national security? The military has already said that obesity rates could significant reduce the number of folks that they could find to join the military.
