Another Trump lie: "As soon as the audit is finished, I will release my tax return". So he actually did say he would release his tax information. Is this another campaign promise he will ignore?

Nobody is diminishing the office of the president more than the media. They are the LIARS, not Trump.

That said, Trump needs to keep his fat fingers off Twitter and keep his mouth shut. I voted for him and will always be glad I did, but he's embarrassing when he goes on his middle of the night rants. If he thinks his phones were tapped, or whatever he thinks, he needs to keep his yap shut and send his justice department out to do the work.

I realize there are those who think his twitter rants are the only way to reach the public, and there's some truth to that. But it can be done in a professional manner, which is something he seems to know nothing about.

But damn, we dodged a bullet. We might have had Hillary, and I can't think of much of anything worse than that.

"Trump is diminishing the office of the president"

Obama already accomplished that, so Trump will have to find another goal.

Many more than just Bernie Sanders think Trump diminishes the presidency with his wild accusations and tweet storms.

Trumplings will swallow any lie he feeds them as long as it confirms their prejudices.

I report. You decide.

Don't attack the messenger people. We all can see how unstable Trump is. You knew that when you voted for him. He has to win. He has to be the best. He needs the adoration of his fans. Why would a sitting President still have rallies AFTER he is already President? He is a narcissist and has lots of mental issues. Too bad you brainwashed people can't see this but no matter what this orange clown does seems to be alright with many of you. It's going to be a long 4 years.....

I got a great big laugh from this comedy. Donald Trump is the biggest liar the WH has ever had. There are lies daily. Yesterday he indciated that Obama released all those GITMO prisoners (it was Bush). Today there will likely be more falsehoods. DJT is a serial liar.

My money is still on the lying Obama. Trump has a long way to go to win that award.

Hey Bernie, you really screwed up with the "No one cares about those damn emails" line. Apparently millions really did care.

That was a big Bernie lie.

I never believed that Trump would be impeached. But this article on Bloomberg surely gives another perspective.

https://www.bloomberg.com/view/artic...of-impeachment

"...when President Trump accuses Obama of an act that would have been impeachable and possibly criminal, that’s something much more serious than libel. If it isn’t true or provable, it’s misconduct by the highest official of the executive branch.

How is such misconduct by an official to be addressed? There’s a common-law tort of malicious prosecution, but that probably doesn’t apply when the government official has no intention to prosecute.

The answer is that the constitutional remedy for presidential misconduct is impeachment."

It's like Trump is completely clueless that he will be held accountable for his actions and for his proclamations. He does not seem to be able to comprehend that there are Constitutional limits to his power, and real consequences when he crosses those limits.
