The extreme hatred shown by the Left for months against anything Trump, has left many wondering what had radicalized so many liberals and started them destroying anything and everything they could find, ostensibly to "protest" the policies of the government elected by the people.

From rioting and burning on the day Trump was inaugurated, to throwing firebombs at police, to disrupting Town Hall meetings to shut down discussions of ideas they didn't like, to rioting, smashing windows, and chasing off speakers who the leftists disagreed with, the radicalized liberals have descended to depths not seen in generations.

Groups such as the Anti-Israel Palestinian group that tried to violently shut down speech at UC Irvine, have been radicalized for years. But with more and more leftists in America falling into their ranks, what is causing the liberals to be radicalized along with them?

After protests and riots, free speech is MIA on college campuses
By Kassy Dillon, opinion contributor - 02/03/17 09:41 AM EST

Conservatives have often used the term “special snowflake” to mock students who can’t handle ideas they disagree with — but “snowflake” is hardly a sufficient term to describe the rioters at UC Berkeley, who unleashed a maelstrom of destruction in protest of acceptance and tolerance.

“Liberals do a great deal of talking about hearing other points of view, [but] it sometimes shocks them to learn that there are other points of view,” William F. Buckley wrote in 1959 about the necessity of free speech. His words ring just as true today, as college administrators have recently shut down conservative speech and actions.

At DePaul University, Milo Yiannopoulos and Ben Shapiro were banned due to “inflammatory speech” and “safety concerns”; the administration even threatened to arrest Shapiro if he set foot on campus again. At Kellogg Community College, three students representing Young Americans for Liberty were arrested for handing out pocket Constitutions in a public space on campus. At UC Irvine, a pro-Palestinian group attempted to violently shut down an event sponsored by Students Supporting Israel.

With the election of Donald Trump, protesters have taken their opposition to an unprecedented level. Petitioning, disruptions, and general harassment were common tactics at first; but now that arsenal has expanded to include rioting, looting, and lobbing Molotov cocktails at police officers. The sting at the ballot box has caused these snowflakes — and actual “antifa” anarchists — to take out this frustration through radical tactics.

Only a few hours ago, protesters at New York University disrupted a speech by conservative comedian Gavin McInnes. Eleven people were arrested.

Some of these radicalized liberals have even appeared in high office within Democrat administrations, such as former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, encouraging the criminal rioters to keep doing what they had been. When our own government officials start calling for this kind of destrucion and lawbreaking, does that encourage the radicalized thugs to recruit more, rioting and destroying more?

Facist don't like everyone's free speech, just their own.

Most of these leftist protestors were financed by Soros, the DNC and by Obama redirecting billions in business fines to radical leftists groups through a slush fund.

Your education regarding political groups is too mainstream.

These anarchist don't like Soros or Democrats, either. Soros makes his money off capitalists. These protesters are very anti capitalists.

They think Trump is a Russian plant, is set on dismantling environmental protections and job security, and talks about grabbing women by the p****. I'm not about to riot over it myself but I'm shocked more people aren't doing it.

There's an alt left no different than alt right. Neither describes the culture of most people.

After eight years of watching the United States Government in all its majesty, scoffing at and violating the fundamental laws of the land, who can blame their acolytes for doing the same thing?
