Are you suggesting that the ACLU is wrong to distribute it?

I would like to have such an app myself, and if the ACLU wasn't distributing it I still think it would be a good idea for someone else to distribute such an item.

I wonder what the app does besides hitting the record button? Live stream it? Automatically make a recording to the clouds whose access is password protected?

There are many ways to live stream now. I think it's as much the message it sends by being sent out by the ACLU.

If I'm stopped and I say "I know my rights" it's not going to hold the same sway as the ACLU saying "we will protect this persons rights".
