WHEN/WHERE was the ability to live on its own put forth as the sole defining characteristic of a blastocyst?
I know why you question me. It's because I called him a Hillary supporter isn't it? To be fair, some blastocysts might be Hillary supporters as well. After all not everyone votes in their best interest.
Really?! Wtf?! I could not have any respect for a doctor that would lie/be selectively truthful to a couple in that situation (or any situation except for talking to a child who isn't ready for the complete truth), I would wager that would go against the Hippocratic Oath actually as its doing harm by not giving the full facts for a patient to give informed consent.
Yes, really.
The proposed law is copied and pasted in this thread.
Did they get their idea from the movie "Legally Blonde"? Because it sure sounds like that scene in the classroom where they were discussing "child care payments" from a literal sperm donor.
Yes, the movie is dumb. So is this idea.
And I was all prepared to talk about a lunatic Republican, only to discover:

This is the problem when you get stupid people looking to "I gotcha!" tricks rather than honestly and intelligently attending to the debate.
She thinks she is being witty, but as you pointed out, all she is doing is displaying her own ignorance.
Or perhaps its satire and you dont get it.

No, I don't give a rat's ass about Hillary but you're correct, you apparently have an obsession with her.
But yo're correct, I'd say the #2 finisher in the popular vote proves not everyone votes in their best interest, just along some strange infatuation with BS as long as it's expressed in a non-PC manner.
There's that blastocyst word again. I know a guy who's 40 who still can't live on his own. Big Hillary supporter. If I call him a blastocyst, can I kill him?
You completely ignored my question...
You are welcome to call him whatever you want, but that wouldn't make him a "blastocyst", which is a specific embryonic developmental stage.
No, you can't kill him because he's clearly a person. Is an early stage embryo a person, though? That was my question.
I find it interesting that the "staunch defenders of life" really only respond to the people whom their talking point will suffice against. They don't answer questions that their talking points weren't made for. It's almost as if they don't understand the issue and instead just repeat what they're told.
