yeah there's a really large % of americans who are not descended from "immigrants"

that said i still believe that the country was founded on the idea of being a safe haven for immigrants

You have to come here legally to be considered an immigrant and if you come here illegally than you have no rights. For certain an illegal alien is not an immigrant.

senior immigrant- all people residing in the US have certain rights- read our constitution our laws-

To be an immigrant I would also have to be an emigrant and I'm not. So I can't be an immigrant.

Yeah, and I bet the Indians were really thrilled to see your grandpap and grandma getting off that boat.

You can twist it any way you want, but we ALL would not be here if people did not immigrate.

I understand that the "we are all immigrants" argument for an open border is being used in Europe now too. Even though most people in many European countries have family living in the area for 100s of generations.

It was founded on freedom. It had nothing to do with immigrants.
