LOL, a family of 6 get in a car accident with an angry Trump supporter fueled with rage and the ER unit WILL treat all of the victims in this disaster. The first responders and the ER unit dont know whether they have insurance or not. Every second counts. Thats the way it is. Turns out none of them had insurance because of Trumpcare (24 million new uninsured) and they all became permanently disabled. And every American pays for this. Can you smell the freedom?
That system is still more free then paying for their insurance out of my pocket. At least this way only their emergencies are covered but not elective procedures.
This is not unexpected at all. It's one of the key reasons why this is getting pushed, to dump more cost onto older people that have some retirement savings. Haven't you figured out yet that this game is all about accessing the enormous wealth in America's self-funded retirement system? ACA at least put some leash on that. If you are an older American under Trumpcare? Better lube up, geezer.
Again, no answer to my question?
Saying it is not unexpected at all does nothing to explain where and how the numbers came to be.
I lubed up when Obamacare was pushed through and my premiums increased, my deductible increased and I'm forced to pay for coverage I dont need (maternity, birth control) while I cant afford an even higher premium for those I do (dental, vision). So I'm ready for the proposed 62% additional increase BCBS has requested due to Obamacare. When a new plan gets put in place I will be able to relax my anal sphincter.

Emergencies are the most expensive. Many can be avoided if people had access to health check-ups before things got really bad. As long as you support a system with tens of millions of uninsured with no access to health check-ups and using the ER as their doctor, you are just another supporter of massive freeloading.
How much do you earn by the way? You have to be really well-off to really benefit from a fully privatized health care system. Several millions in the bank should be the minimum.
I don't think so, most emergencies are accidents. Or old people about to meet the wizard.
And no, I don't support paying people's ER's bills either. But it's still better than me paying for people's elective procedures. I personally liked it before ACA, don't know why we needed a change. But whatever.

If I told you, would you really believe me? This is the internet.
I'm semi-retired. These days I have 5 properties in NYC and Miami Beach that I rent, besides the income from these I have some dividend income from investments of my 30+ years in working and I charter out two intrepids to the local yacht club.
All in all, my tax bill for this year is 6 figures even with my accountant working OT and shield of an S-Corporation.
The reason so many will lose their insurance is because employers no longer will be mandated to offer insurance, plus premiums would go up so more people cant afford insurance (typically the older demographics) plus far fewer would be covered by Medicaid, many elderly seniors in nursing homes will no longer qualify.

The ER units treat everyone. And the fewer people have insurance, the more busy they get. People with no insurance and inability to pay wait until the cancer is at the final stage before seeking help and then are rushed to the ER.
Well, if you were happy with 10% annual health care cost increases you are happy with bankrupting America.
