Probably some cheating but she lost because of her own stuff. My feeling is cheating (be it what Trump claims or this hacking) isn't enough to change the outcome.

Did Russia cost Hillary the election?

Sure thing. It was a bad strategy.

When the Hillary Campaign started the false rumors about Russian Hacking, Russians collusion, Trump controlled by Russians, it only exposed her for the hollow flawed candidate that she was. Remember we are taking about someone who couldn't even beat Bernie Sanders in a fair primary.

She should have gone to places like Michigan and told those guys what she was going to do to keep their jobs going to Mexico. She should have gone to places like Pennsylvania and explain how she didn't really mean that she was going to put the entire coal industry out of business.

But nope none of that. Instead, she's drunk, getting chucked into vans like a side of beef and her campaign sycophants and MSM spun dreams of Russia.

The result of this speaks for itself.

oh gee the DNC got hacked, never mind that the same hackers tried to hack the RNC as well. and sure russia, china, north korea, etc. are going to do everything they can to gather information from every other country in the world, this is called normalcy. especially since we also do it.

as for it mattering, yes and no. it does matter that the truth comes out, and the truth is every country tries to influence the elections of every other country around the world. why? because they want leaders in other countries they can work with, and that they trust. virtually NO ONE trusts hillary.

The Russian story is all the Clintons had left.

Their identity politics were a complete failure. Hillary going South, pulling bottles of hot sauce, and talking like Aunt Jemima didn't fly for a national election. Their attempts to paste Trump as a womanizer failed when the specter of what Bill Clinton had done to endless women was tossed, to their horror, right back into their faces. Their attempts to play the vagina card didn't work with women trying to put food on the table because their jobs were going to India, China & Mexico.

All in all, it was all icing and no cake. People can only stomach so much of it. The shock and horror at the Javits center and Hillary's inability to even address her supporters only speaks to the real contempt that she held for the people she was trying to get to vote for her. (and the brain dead who couldn't figure it out)

NO.
Hillary was simply that bad of a choice that someone as bad as Trump was able to defeat her.

And her Wikileaks and FBI investigation....

And for being a crappy candidate in general.

At the time, exactly WHAT influence could Russia have on ANY of that?! Unless they were handing out free Russian vodka out at the polls...

You pretty much nailed it. The Democrats should really be focusing all their angst towards here rather than the Donald. She screwed the Burn out of his chance, which was much better than hers.

No...and she wasn't "cheated" out of anything. Hillary wasn't owed or entitled to the Presidency. We (the voters of Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, etc.) made sure she didn't get it.

It's possible that Russia interfered with the election. They've done it before and Clinton's policy was less pro-Russia than Trump's, so there was precedent to do so. Had it not happened, would Clinton be president? Not necessarily. I wouldn't say she was cheated of the presidency becasue of Russia; there's a chance Russian involvement hurt her cause.
