Not sure of your point.

Either you disagree with him about this statement, which means the Republicans really should stop claiming him as an example of why they are better for black people, or you agree with him, which...well...I think you see where this is heading, right?

Unusual coming from this man.

Lincoln of course was a Republican and people shouldn't need advertising to know this.

BTW, the President's favorite predecessor Andrew Jackson was a Democrat. I wonder if he knows ...

President Trump is finding out lots of new things -- how complicated health care in the USA is the most notable for me.

At least he is learning right

Different times, different party -- and yes President Trump most people (not just Americans) know that Lincoln was a Republican because this is always thrown out as if it is some justification or proof Republicans today aren't racist. (not saying they are -- but saying this is the defense used when they are called racists).

It takes intelligence, to come to a conclusion, given the evidence.

I'm not even sure that most people on the street could name the CURRENT speaker of the house, or where the state of North Dakota is located on the map, so I think Trump's statement could be correct.

It all changed in the 60's with the Black American vote locked into the party of Lincoln.
LBJ - I'll have these ni**ers voting Democrat for 200 years.
They removed god, from the Black communities and replaced it with government. The Johnson Amendment.

Imo, most people don't care which party Lincoln belonged to.
