The trouble I saw in England and then in Ireland where we have family is that they are too kind for their own good.
They don't seem to see the potential danger in their midst.

Helping people is fine but you have to be sure those same people are not going to bite the hand that feeds them.

I can see the clash of cultures coming to a head where many people will be killed in the near future.

What is really dumb is how quickly the press is to say that with what happened at Parliament they hope that there will not be any backlash to the muslim community. What about the people who were just killed in the name of allah??
naw Ireland is not really a target i think ISIS claimed it was a fair target a couple of years ago , but most terrorists know all about the Irish in Northern Ireland because the Irish pretty much wrote the book on low level long term conflict.

ISIS would have zero bragging rights attacking them. The Irish have no negative image in the middle east. They are considered to be victims of British oppression. They are looking for propaganda wins not losses.

There is NO coming war in europe. I get that people want to create an atmosphere of fear, but frankly i dont see it . I see friendly happy people , and great bar service.

Fun Fact: about 9.2 million Turkish citizens favor making Sharia Law the law of the land. There's a reason Turkey has been denied EU membership (opposed also by both the Bush and Obama administrations).

the only thing doomed is the alt right, they peaked. they had their very short time in the sun, now it time to crawl back under their rocks.
Doesn't matter if they vote or not. Iran doesn't need to invade. Couldn't if they wanted to. It's demographics. I'm not pretending anything. I'm a demographer. Sweden will no longer exist as Sweden if they keep allowing Muslims in by the thousands. It's not even debatable. It's fact.

yeah i don't think you're going to find many liberals sticking up for Erdogan

some of y'all need to get a serious grip on this habit of "blaming liberals for everything."

normally when people say "It's not even debatable. It's fact," they have many pages of data and analysis to back this up.

i figured as a professional that sort of peer reviewed data analysis would be easy for you to come by.
