There is a difference between christians and christian fundamentalists such as the Westboro Baptist Church or indeed groups such as the KKK, they don't represent the views of many christians.
Equally fundamentalist muslim groups do not represent the views of many muslims.
Fundamentalism is the problem and this can be appled to many religions.
People admire families like the Duggars who are the epitome of Christian fundamentalism and who want this country ruled by faith based laws yet demonize those of the Muslim faith for wanting the same. Frankly, I think both groups should practice their religions without trying to push it on everyone else.

I never said the KKK was a fundaentalist group indeed it's idealogy is based on race rather than religion.
There are numerous fundamentalist groups, indeed at one time Christians used to execute witches and sectarianism is evident in the Christian faith in relation to Catholics and Protestants, you just need to look at places such as Northern Ireland.
As for the Koran and Islam, it is often cited as the religion that is closest to christanity, however taking everything written in the Koran or Bible literally as fundamentalist do is dangerous, and the same is true of the Koran.
In the case of the Koran, very dangerous. We have our oil rich Saudi friends to thank for sponsoring the spread of fundamentalist Wahhabi form of Islam. Ah the Taliban. Afghanistan was considered the only truly Muslim nation under them.

That's one of the crazy equivalencies common among excuse-makers for Islam. The WBC, KKK, or what you call Christian fundamentalists aren't international well-armed, organized religious-based groups aimed at causing violence in multiple countries, against governments, innocent civilians, people of their own and other religions. The comparison is ridiculous.

No its not.
Our crazies are just behind their Muslim counterparts in the race to violence.
Muslim fundamentalism is the theological core of their religion. Thus, those "many Muslims" that don't believe in it are by definition an outlying fringe.
Christian fundamentalism is the outlying fringe. The theological core of Christianity, by definition, is Catholicism. Everything else is an offshoot or reinterpretation.
There is no Christian equivelant of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, the Taliban, etc.
Anyone attempting to compare Muslim fundamentalism to Christian fundamentalism is ridiculous, and disingenuous, and should simply be ignored.

Except the numbers don't support your theory. All available, reliable, truthful numbers out there show that the majority of Muslims are not extremists, do not support violence and even if they adhere to stricter rules of Islam don't think others should. These are facts.
As far as your statement about Catholicism...I'd say you have quite a fight on your hands from the hundreds of others of Christian denominations in trying to make such a claim.
Support what Trump wants to do, before we have this BS happening to an even greater extent over here.
ISLAM IS INCOMPATIBLE WITH THE WEST. PERIOD.
Islam is incompatible with civilization. Not just in the west.
