There really isn't.

Let's repeal all government meddling.
>> No more licensed / privileged care givers <<
>> No more insurers skimming a vast fortune from the sick <<
>> No more socialized medicine <<
. . .
BEFORE GLORIOUS SOCIALISM (pre-1933)
. . .
1930 example
FCHP - Hospital bill from 1930
In 1930, $66 bought a mom in Kansas a 10-day hospital stay and delivery of her new baby.
($4/day for the room)
. . .
LA:
Verdugo Views: There was a time when a hospital stay cost $4 a day - LA Times
($4/day for the room in a ward. A front corner room went for $10 per day.)
. . .
Wages were much lower, too. A typical factory worker might make between $20 and $50 per week.

AFTER THE SOCIALIST REVOLUTION
Average Cost Per Inpatient Day Across 50 States in 2010
Hospital bed cost per day
United States
• State/local government hospitals — $1,625
• Non-profit hospitals — $2,025
• For-profit hospitals — $1,629

COST INCREASE : 40,725% increase ($1,629/$4)
($1,629/$4 = 407.25 X 100 = 40725%)
(Somebody has to pay for all the bureaucracy, paper work, clerks, adjusters, investigators, supervisors, guys in clown suits, etc, etc.)

This is the result of government meddling in medicine for over 120 years.

Really the most disturbing thing is that Trump really truly has no idea what is in the bill and cannot converse about it in an intelligent manner. And he honestly doesn't care about people. He honestly believes he can push this bill to the left in the Senate? Mr. Trump is delusional.

Few voters voted to replace Obamacare with Trumpcare, that throws 24 million off of insurance; is more increases the cost to older Americans by 2X; ends income based subsidies and gets rid of Expanded Medicaid. Many Trump voters, especially rural Trump voters benefit from Medicaid expansion.

Trumpcare is essentially a tax-cut on the rich impersonating as health care.

Trump promised the plan would be 'terrific' -- insure everyone; lower costs and provide the same benefits. He lied -- and what he's providing isn't what people voted for.

Weird. I don't get it for free. Never have. Nor do I get subsidies-my income is way too high for that.

And I like it a lot. It saves the life of a friend who discovered she had cancer. And if it bad been in place a couple years earlier, my mom would probably still be alive.

Apples to bananas comparison. In the 1930s a maternity ward consisted of a bunch of small beds in a big hall with little med equipment and a country doctor/midwife who delivered your mother. Compare that to today's maternity neonate facilities? Ridiculous!

If by "most of them" you mean the people who are against this POS TrumpCare bill, I think you're wrong. They understand that it means they will lose their coverage.

Now if you applied that statement to Mr. Trump, I would have to agree with you. It's pretty clear he has no real concept of what's in this bill, and it's equally clear that he doesn't give a damn about the people it will affect. All he wants is to be able to say he "won" and go do another round of victory laps.

The people who "don't understand one bit" are the idiots who continue to show up at his love fests, ignorant of the fact that he is screwing them royally.

Why are so many conservatives happy to get it for free (from their employer, without paying their fair share of tax) while opposing tax credits for people who have to actually PAY for it?
