LOL. There were plenty of people with even more healthcare experience than Hillary working on this bill. If experience was all it took, then the problem would be solved already. Bernie and his crazy socialist promises would be even more of a quagmire right now and we'd be talking about the con man that Bernie is instead.

Donald Trump played it perfectly during the election. He is, if nothing else, a skilled salesman. Here is what he did. I mentioned in another thread that a good salesman knows you never sell the steak, you sell the sizzle. What that means is, you never really tell the customer "This car has a V8 engine, and improved suspension, and wide track ride." What you do is paint a picture in their mind of them going down the road with the wind blowing in their hair, and music playing on that 4 speaker stereo. You tell them that car is going to change their life .

Customers are turned off by hearing all the nuts and bolts of a product, all they really want to know is what it is going to do to make their life better. That is PRECISELY what Trump did. He simply said "Trust me, I am going to make your lives better and you do not need to worry about how I will do it !"

Every madman has a streak of genius in them, and Donald , while he is nutty as a fruitcake, has the true talent of understanding his audience and being able to tell them what they are wanting to hear, without all the nuts and bolts.

That is how he conned his flock. He did such a great job that some of them still do not realize the wheels are falling off of their shiny new purchase.

Trump said his plan would cover everyone - for less.

Instead, the plan kicked 24 million off insurance with NO REDUCTION in premiums/deductibles for ten years.

Trump is an intellectually lazy, not too bright, mental lightweight who can't inform himself on the details of anything, much less concern himself with perverse consequences.

That he would even consider the Ryan/Price travesty should expose him for the FRAUD he is.

No reduction in premiums/deductibles, 24 million lose their insurance??

Really??

So much for his promises.

By comparison, Hillary's goals:
Quote:
As president, Hillary will:

  • Defend and expand the Affordable Care Act, which covers 20 million people. Hillary will stand up to Republican-led attacks on this landmark law—and build on its success to bring the promise of affordable health care to more people and make a “public option” possible. She will also support letting people over 55 years old buy into Medicare.
  • Bring down out-of-pocket costs like copays and deductibles. American families are being squeezed by rising out-of-pocket health care costs. Hillary believes that workers should share in slower growth of national health care spending through lower costs.
  • Reduce the cost of prescription drugs. Prescription drug spending accelerated from 2.5 percent in 2013 to 12.6 percent in 2014. It’s no wonder that almost three-quarters of Americans believe prescription drug costs are unreasonable. Hillary believes we need to demand lower drug costs for hardworking families and seniors. Read more here.
  • Protect consumers from unjustified prescription drug price increases from companies that market long-standing, life-saving treatments and face little or no competition. Hillary’s plan includes new enforcement tools that make drug alternatives available and increase competition, broaden emergency access to high-quality treatments from developed countries with strong safety standards, and hold drug companies accountable for unjustified price increases with new penalties. Read more here.
  • Fight for health insurance for the lowest-income Americans in every state by incentivizing states to expand Medicaid—and make enrollment through Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act easier.
  • Expand access to affordable health care to families regardless of immigration status. Hillary will expand access to affordable health care to families regardless of immigration status by allowing families to buy health insurance on the health exchanges regardless of their immigration status.
  • Expand access to rural Americans, who often have difficulty finding quality, affordable health care. Hillary will explore cost-effective ways to make more health care providers eligible for telehealth reimbursement under Medicare and other programs, including federally qualified health centers and rural health clinics.
  • Defend access to reproductive health care. Hillary will work to ensure that all women have access to preventive care, affordable contraception, and safe and legal abortion.
  • Double funding for community health centers, and support the healthcare workforce: As part of her comprehensive health care agenda, Hillary is committed to doubling the funding for primary-care services at community health centers over the next decade. Hillary also supports President Obama’s call for a near tripling of the size of the National Health Service Corps.
The complete OPPOSITE of Trump NoCare.

It's insurance companies and their games which causes overcharging for medical services in this country. Government regulation is the only thing which can reign in health care costs and prevent price-fixing of necessary medicines. That's how it works in the rest of the developed world.

It is amazing he has not had a mass exodus of support over this blatant betrayal. My only explanation is that. His base believes illegal immigration is the source of their woes.

He is the very definition of an empty suit: a prominent person regarded as lacking substance, personality, or ability.

We would still be in the same place if it was any other candidate. Fact is, Obama and the democrats have created a monster and now, it is become so deadly and formidable, it is extremely difficult to defeat.

Nevertheless, of all the candidates out there, Trump is the best to tackle it. And he still will. You haters/naysayers are the same suckers that fell for the Obama con man. The "AFFORDABLE" care act. Yeah, right.
Trump has no idea what he is doing so how is he the best to tackle it. He was dealt a major defeat not repealing the ACA like he said he would do. And he blamed it on democrats.....yet republicans control it all. If we don't have a single payer system then I would like everyone in congress to have the same healthcare they want to impose on our country. Is anyone here opposed to this? It's easy to cut benefits when it doesn't affect them and their families.

You talk a bunch of nonsense. Anyone can repeal it but that means leaving people without coverage. Now that would be something the democrats wouldn't hesitate to do to Americans that aren't from their base.

LOL. All I see here from Hillary is a bunch of "expand" this and "expand" that. That would be like Obamacare injected with steroids. In case you forget, Obamacare is the problem we are trying to solve, not build it up even more.

You are just falling for the Hillary con job.
